PortMedia seeks Director of Operations for PEG Access Television station.

Position Description: The Director of Operations will oversee maintenance of PortMedia's technical equipment, member training, and production activity, and facility. Technical staff will report to the Director of Operations.

They will work under the supervision of the Executive Director.

Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

PortMedia is located in Newburyport, Massachusetts.
Newburyport is a small coastal city located where the Merrimac River meets the Atlantic Ocean.
A historic seaport with a vibrant tourism industry, the city is very proud of its history including the fact that the first tea party in opposition to England's tax on tea was held in Newburyport, well before the more famous one in Boston.

PortMedia will begin operations in May, 2008. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to be a part of the a newly established non-profit organization and that will build community television for a strong and vibrant community.
